MAC Heavenly Creature collection haul

This is my haul from MAC's Heavenly Creature collection. I only bought cheek products although I was very tempted by the eyeshadows too. But after calculating how much it would cost if I added them to my bill, I decided not to get them, pretty as they are.

Swatching the products in person made my decision easier as to what to get. I skipped Center of the Universe MSF and Earthshine MSF as they were too dark and bronzey for my skin. As for the mineralize blush, I skipped Solar Ray (very very pretty peach and gold, but too much shimmer for my liking) and Stratus (too dark).

So these are joining my mineralize collection.

Star Wonder MSF (Plumy pink with multi-dimensional pearlized pigments)

Light Year MSF (Peachy pink with gold shimmer)

Ring Of Saturn mineralize blush (Terracotta and gold melange)

Supernova mineralize blush (Magenta and burnished gold)

haul: MAC Wonder Woman collection

BOOMZ! Just gonna bombard you with pics of those mega-sized MSFs and blush from the Wonder Woman collection.

At first, I thought that I could resist them as I was not really a big fan of the packaging. Then obviously my MAC obsession took over.

Just a comparison pic regarding size and weight of different MAC blush and MSFs.

MAC In The Groove haul part 1

This is old news, but i just wanted to share what I bought from MAC In The Groove's collection. This is called part 1 cos I have some other items coming that were ordered through icefrost and gwenned's sprees. I have to admit that I totally did not expect, and originally did not intend to haul so much. Stereo Rose MSF was obviously a MUST for me, given the hype and the fact that I've been collecting MSFs for a while now. The mineralized blushers were all tempting too, but I've seen similar colours come and go in previous collections, so I would have settle for just a couple like Happy Together and Hang Loose. So what got into me to add on the eyeshadow trios? Well, I bought Making It Easy first and then i used it. And I fell in love with it cos it was so smooth and looked so good. And then Sophia's entries and LOTDs made it even harder for me to resist getting a few more. I got a little bit obsessed wanting them, so here's what I ended up with.

I wasn't around when MAC In The Groove was launched. So how did I manage to grab hold of Stereo Rose? Well a friend of mine got it for me and I'm so glad I have it now. And if all goes well, I'll have another one coming from Michelle's spree. Now, I think it's funny how a few of us will be having a backup of Stereo Rose now. haha! Oh and I already do have Petticoat, By Candlelight and Comfort from their previous launches, so I didn't feature them in this entry.

my MAC MSF (Mineralize Skinfinish) collection

To all MSF lovers/collectors out there, I happened to stumble upon this link and I was in total awe at her collection. Click here if you'd like to see more: http://afloresm13.livejournal.com/7162.html

I was inspired to do a group pic of my own collection and here it is. It's smaller in comparison obviously.

I have 19 MSFs in total so far, and looking forward to adding more to my collection..although I have to admit that some are still brand new and not even used at all.

Oh well, just wanted to share this with you all. Enjoy!

MAC Warm & Cozy haul

First of all, I wanna wish a Happy New Year to everyone reading this entry. A bit late, but better late than never =)

Moving on, I'm gonna be showing you my first MAC haul for this year (whatever happened to putting a curb on spending? urghhh...) with the 'Warm & Cozy' collection out in stores now. To tell you the truth, I was debating on whether I should be getting any more MSFs, but being a sucker for these beauties, needless to say that I totally caved in.

MAC's Warm & Cozy collection has 2 MSFs: Comfort, which is a golden bronze and By Candlelight, a golden pink. Looking at the pictures below, you can definitely see the gold veinings in there.

And...looking at these again, you might think that you've seen these colours before. Indeed, when I first swatched Comfort, it reminded me of Sunny By Nature from the Colour Craft collection. Here they are side by side for comparison. Sunny By Nature is a much deeper bronze colour while Comfort is more golden.

As for By Candlelight, it looks like a lighter version of Porcelain Pink (soft pinky coral with gold veining) in the pan. However, when swatched, the latter has a much more pinkish iridescence that my camera unfortunately didn't manage to catch.

So here you are. I hope this helps you decide whether you wanna splurge on these new MSFs especially if you can find dupes.

And to finish off, I also got the nail lacquer in Blissed Out which is a creamy light nude. Two coats are enough to achieve a true colour, but be careful of streaks cos this is a cream finish.

Pardon my erratic makeup sense. Lol. I've been jotting down what I've been wearing on my face for 3 days in a row and I've even been rotating my foundation. I realise I have so much stuff to use that I have to keep rotating. hmm.
