nars blush swatchfest

I've thought of doing this post since forever but never really got to it. Well here it is! Swatches of all the nars blushers that I own. Hopefully this will be helpful to those looking to buy a nars blush or two, and can't make up their minds. Most of the shades below have some shimmer, except for gilda, mata hari and passion which are matte blushers. For a closeup of how they look like in the pan, you can refer to this post here.

Deep Throat (peach with shimmer)
Gilda (coral) - matte
Lovejoy (shimmering bronzed rose)
Luster (sheer golden apricot)

Mata Hari (rose petal pink) - matte
Mounia (cinnamon coral)
Oasis (sparkling pink champagne)
Orgasm (peachy pink with shimmer)

Outlaw (rose with shimmer)
Passion (warm peach) - matte
Sin (berry with gold shimmer)
Super Orgasm (peachy pink with gold glitter)

Taos (desert rose with shimmer)
Torrid (coral with shimmer)
Brousse eyeshadow duo (sable/black violet)

I have Nars Amour and its really one of my favorite blushers. It makes me look like I just went jogging and have that natural flush on my cheeks. Smiling You should get it too- complete the collection Smiling

In case you find yourself travelling to Manila Philippines, Nars and Laura Mercier are available at Rustan's Makati. I got my friend to buy me a Laura Mercier Mineral Blush cheek in Coral, it was 22 USD at the Laura website but she got it for me for only 995 php (around 20 USD). Laughing out loud

HI, How easy it is to wear Mounia? I am thinking to get it but coz I am heavy handed so a lil worried I might not be able to handle it. Also do you use Nico as a highlighter mostly or a blus? TIA! Smiling

I need to use a very light hand with Mounia. A little bit goes a long way with this one. It's really crazily pigmented. The first time I ended up with too much on my cheeks and had to buff it out like crazy.
Nico is more like a highlighted to me. It just blends into my skin. There's no colour to it.

Thank you for your inputs. Despite the red-ness I still want to pick up Mounia. Have you tried to tone down Mounia with Nico? Thinking to do that but not sure if it will work.
