In loving memory of Jessie, born 24th Aug 2005, who left us unexpectedly on 9th August 2010.

Life feels empty without you. I miss seeing you lying on the floor sleeping, I miss your sighs and snorts, I miss your cold wet nose nudging me to get out of bed in the morning, I miss having you follow me around the house and observing my every move, I miss seeing your expectant look whenever you hear the rustling of plastic bags hoping it's food, I miss your bark which sounded like a magnificent roar and was seldom heard except when you were excited to go out, I miss having you around to nag at and to fuss over, I miss running my hands through your soft fur, I miss calling you silly names, I miss your playfulness, I miss my friend, I miss you.

Thank you for all the joy and laughter you brought us, for being there no matter what, for being such a great friend. Thank you for having been part of our lives. Now that you're gone, we miss you so badly it hurts. I love you forever.
