Victoria's Secret, famous for their underwear, lingerie, swimwear, lotions, creams and mists, also carries a pretty comprehensive beauty line. I bought these from Sophia (the make-up blogette) who got them in the US during the VS semi-annual sale. No better time to try them out I say.

Nice packaging, modern and simple.

This is a baked mineral eyeshadow quad. It is about the size of a MSF, but contains a lot less product. It has a dome shape, which is characteristic of baked mineral products.

The colours are rather pigmented (those are one swipe swatches) but not very unique. I'm liking the colour combi though.

Next up are a blush trio and a bronzer trio. The colours are pretty much muted and look very soft. I actually visualized them as brighter (I don't know why) and not so dull looking, so I was a bit surprised when I saw them in real life.

These are swatches of the individual colours, blush followed by bronzer. They are very sheer, but that means that they're buildable. They have a very slight amount of shimmer, barely noticeable.

The trios when swatched together. I've worn the Afterglow blush and I must say that I quite like it. It lasted the whole day, giving me a nice glow.

Ok I finally unpacked my VS box tonight, but I won't talk much abt my haul. Basically I ordered quite a few bottles of body lotion and body wash as you can see from the pic, when they were having a 20% off sale which ended last Weds (2nd Dec). The package was shipped on the 3rd Dec and probably reached SG during the weekend cos by the time, UPS left a note on my door on Tuesday 8th, it was their second delivery attempt. So that was a damn fast shipment! I wasn't expecting it so soon. hmm...so many bottles. Haha. How to finish you ask? Well, I think I'll end up selling away those that I don't like. =)

Next up, my UD haul which i ordered during the 30% F&F sale.

I'm sure Book Of Shadows Vol II needs no introduction. 16 gorgeous eyeshadows, 2 travel size 24/7 eye pencils in Zero and Bourbon and 1 mini UDPP.

24/7 Super Stash is a collection of 9 mini pencils with new shades that I don't previously own. I am quite peeved at the size though. When they said mini, they really meant it. This mini size is just 3" long including the cap, abt 2.7" without (meaning from the tip of the pencil to the end), compared to the travel size which is 4.3" with the cap and 3.5" without the cap. That's 0.5g of product for the mini vs 0.8g of product for the travel size.

Ta-daaaaa...I have shot from owning 0 nars to owning 14 nars overnight. *evil laugh*. Please don't go and count the amount I spent on these babies. I am super broke right now and don't even wanna think about it. So don't make me feel worse. Consolation: these were bought with a 22% discount. So worth it or not hah? I couldn't resist ok? They are so freaking super gorgeous that I haven't even dared swatch any yet. I am definitely a nars collector now.

As you can see, I am quite the blush freak. Lol. Yeah, I collect MAC blushes too.

Today's pretty overwhelming. Received 4 packages (VS, UD, nars) + hubby collected my Cleo hamper gift (Veet products!). I'm almost giddy with excitement. All will be revealed soon. I'm just too tired to post this tonight.

Ok so I have received presents from a few friends and colleagues.

First up, Illuminate Fantasy Collection from Beauté de Kosé Esprique Precious from my boss on Monday.

The set consists of a nail polish, glossy eye whatever (lots of glitter), face colour and brush, and lipgloss. The compact case is rather pretty and has a mirror inside.

Then this Sephora box today from my other colleagues.

Peek-a-boo...Oohh..out came a lovely scent...VS Berry Kiss hydrating body lotion

Ta-Daaa..and the rest of the treasure box revealed:

- Sephora blush in meringue jalouse

- MAC e/s in Ricepaper

- Sephora waterproof flashy liner in black

- Sephora waterproof khol and liner in keep blue

- MAC eye khol in Smolder

Lots of pencil liners huh? I like my pencils as much as my blushes, though now I'm somewhat gravitating towards eye shadows.

I should do a post on my collection of pencils soon yes?

hmm..also in the mail today 2 items that i bought online. Essence of Beauty crease duo brushes and MAC mineralize blush in Pleasantry.

And an email from CLEO informing me that I won a Veet hamper. I love winning prizes and this is almost like a birthday present too. This is the fifth hamper I've won from CLEO mag this year alone. Well worth my subscription. *grin*
